Adding vehicle Donation to your organization's Fundraising is easy

Donate Local makes it easy for charities to to turn car donations into cash for our charity partners. We are a registered with the state attorney general as a commercial fundraiser, legally authorized to work with both local and national charities within the State of California on their vehicle donation programs.

Important Notes:

1) Donate Local is legally authorized by the California State Attorney General to operate as a commercial fundraiser within California. Donate Local is NOT authorized to operate outside the state.  Donate Local is not legally authorized to pick up donation vehicles outside the State of California

2) In order to qualify as a Donate Local charity partner, the charity MUST be legally established and properly registered 501 (c)(3) non-profit, as spelled out in the U.S. Internal Revenue Code.

​3) Donate Local can NOT accept or pick-up a donation vehicle on behalf of a charity partner until there is a formal, written agreement between Donate Local and the charity partner.

Donate Local has been helping charities since 1996, picking up donated vehicles, helping with  DMV paperwork, getting tax deduction documents to donors, getting donated vehicles fixed up and sold, and the best part, delivering checks to our charity partners.

The key to all good partnerships is a commitment deliver great value to the relationship, and that is why Donate Local goes the extra mile when working on donated vehicles maximize the donation value of each. You can stop by the Donate Local yard and observe the staff working on cars, trucks and boats, getting them ready to be sold. Fresh paint jobs, new fenders and even brand new engines at times, are among the steps we go through to make sure we don't leave one dollar on the table when selling donated vehicles.
