Amador STARS. Since 2004, Amador STARS has served a vital and ever-expanding rolesupporting cancer patients and their families living in Amador County.

Amador STARS has an office in Sutter Creek with caring staff to answer questions about local and regional services available to cancer patients and survivors -- from where to find a wig when they are going through chemotherapy, to what support is available locally for patients and survivors.
STARS also provides FREE transportation for Amador County
residents to radiation and chemotherapy treatments in Sacramento, El Dorado, San Joaquin, Calaveras and Amador Counties. We maintain a fleet of 8 vehicles to transport an average of 30 patients each month to their treatments.
