Effie Yeaw Nature Center is located inside of Ancil Hoffman Park in Carmichael, just adjacent to the American River. The Effie Yaew Visitors Center is open to the public and is normally open Tuesday through Sunday - for hours visit their website at sacnaturecenter.net. The Nature Center offers both youth and adult programs throughout the year to foster an appreciation for the important relationship between man and nature, with a focus on the American River Parkway.
