Sometimes animals are injured or become abandoned in the wild, and the mission of Gold Country Wildlife Rescue is to provide to those animals the care they need to prepare them to be released back into the wild. Caring for an animal from the wild is a complex task, if the goal is to get the animal back into the wild.

The Gold Country Wildlife Rescue staff take great care to keep the animals from becoming reliant upon human aid, and that takes special handling and lots of patience. However, the reward of successfully re-introducing a healthy animal back into the wild is worth the trouble. Help us help more animals, and donate that unwanted car or truck.
